Today, Indian cinema aka Bollywood is one of the most popular film industries in the world. As we all know Cannes Film Festival 2022 is just around the corner and the latest news is that India is all set to become the official country of honour at the Cannes Film Market. We are so excited!

The Cannes Film Festival – one of the biggest film festivals is here and it is going to take place from May 17 to May 28 in France. As per the latest news, India will be the official country of honour at the Cannes Film Market and to honour the Indian cinema, the film festival will screen legendary director, Satyajit Ray’s film. According to the reports, a brand new restoration of Ray’s rare movie titled Pratidwandi will be screened exclusively at the 75th Cannes Film Festival, it is a big deal. The new version of the special film is presented by the National Film Archive of India, as per reports.
