‘House Of The Dragon’ Episode 1 Twitter Review: Fans Reminded Of Daenerys After Watching Rhaenyra Targaryen’s Supremacy
It’s been weeks since I started prepping myself for this day – yesterday. Why? Well, because it was yesterday, that the prequel series of one of the biggest pop-culture phenomena – Game Of Thrones – started streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. Yes, I’m talking about the one and only House Of The Dragon. The prequel series that is going to focus on the history of House Targaryen, some 180 years before Daenerys Targaryen. While you’d think I’m the only one so excited about it, think again, Ever since House Of The Dragon dropped its first episode on the OTT platform, Twitter has gone into a frenzy. Twitterati can’t help but gush about the parallels drawn between Rhaenyra and Daenerys Targaryen and how. They literally are all in to join a cult for them!
The first episode of House Of The Dragon is out and so far by the looks of it, Twitter is extremely content with the way the prequel series to Game Of Thrones has started out. Twitterati was ‘mind-blown’ and even praised the episode to be a ‘terrific’ one.

House Of The Dragon which is set some 180-200 years before the rise of Daenerys Targaryen follows the history of House Targaryen and the events that led up to the point in Game Of Thrones. The series that is based on the book Fire & Blood by George R.R. Martin who is also the executive producer stars Paddy Considine, Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Steve Toussaint, Eve Best, Fabien Frankel, Sonoya Mizuno, Rhys Ifans, Emily Carey, Graham McTavish, and many many more.
Many of them took to Twitter to praise the prequel series, House Of The Dragon. In fact, Twitterati couldn’t help but point out the similarities between Rhaenyra Targaryen and Daenerys Targaryen – they loved it.
