‘Heropanti 2’ Trailer Reactions: This Tiger Shroff Starrer Has Us Pleading He Do Something Original

When the trailer to Tiger Shroff’s Heropanti 2 was released earlier today, I had 2 questions: firstly, who asked for a second instalment? and secondly, why does this resemble Harry Potter in the weirdest way possible? Heropanti 2 stars Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. It is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Ahmed Khan.

However, me being the sucker for pain that I am, gave the Heropanti 2 trailer a few more views to form coherent opinions about it. When my own questions regarding the trailer were not answered despite my multiple viewings, I turned to the holy grail: Twitter. And the Twitter reactions did not disappoint. I think in India, a couple of directors know to exploit the acting acumen of Nawaz bhai. He is immensely talented, but unable to find right director.

I personally do believe that Tiger Shroff is very talented, in a lot of things. But, he really needs to start picking better movies. And Bollywood in general has to start putting a little more thought and effort into their movies. The fact that something as basic as a geographical fact is being overlooked just shows the lack of thought that has gone into the trailer.

Heropanti 2 will release on April 29, 2022.
