Harry Potter Reunion Special Trailer Casts A Spell Of Nostalgia. We Can’t Help But Get Emotional!

All the Potterheads including us went crazy when we heard about the Harry Potter special reunion. HBO Max released a first look from the upcoming special Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts which included the leading cast Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint having a conversation in the Gryffindor common room. And now we got the official trailer of the reunion featuring the whole cast of the film and the countdown to the most enchanting event of the season has just begun. Wow, I’m so excited!

On Monday, December 20, HBO Max dropped the official trailer of Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return To Hogwarts and it literally casted a nostalgia spell on us and we can’t help but get emotional watching the star-cast, they are such an important part of our childhood memories. The trailer shows the cast reuniting at the reunion, along with several clips from all the Harry Potter movies.

The trailer gave a glimpse of returning members of the Harry Potter cast which includes Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange) and Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy), with Robbie Coltrane (Hagrid), Ralph Fiennes (Voldemort), Gary Oldman (Sirius Black), Imelda Staunton (Dolores Umbridge), James and Oliver Phelps (Fred and George Weasley), Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley), Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom), and Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood) along with the main magical golden trio, Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) and Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley). From the trailer, we can see the the cast members experiencing the magical world all over again and talking about their journey of filming the iconic film franchise. The set looks absolutely magical!

The retrospective special invites fans on a magical first-person journey through one of the most beloved film franchises of all time as it reunites the cast members and filmmakers across all eight  films for the first time to celebrate the anniversary of the franchise’s first film, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.

The special program was taped at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London and HBO Max had also released a short trailer which included alumni like Coltrane who played the role of Hagrid, and Lewis who played the character of Neville Longbottom receiving their invitations to attend the special reunion. Although, we do not have the special invitation letter but we are are excited and thrilled to experience our childhood again.

The special, Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts, is set to premiere on New Year’s Day 2022 on Amazon Prime Video in India. So, don’t miss the Hogwarts Express to take trip down memory lane.
