‘GoodBye’ Trailer: Amitabh Bachchan, Rashmika Mandanna, Neena Gupta Starrer Will Explore The Real Meaning Of Family, Traditions, And Loss

The trailer of GoodBye, a much-awaited family drama starring Amitabh Bachchan, Rashmika Mandanna, Neena Gupta, Pavail Gulati, Elli Avram, Sunil Grover, Sahil Mehta and Abhishek Khan in pivotal roles has finally been unveiled by the makers. The trailer tells us that Goodbye revolves around the importance of family and the celebration of life in every circumstance, including worst-case scenarios like a loss.

GoodBye follows the Bhalla family and its members who have to, unfortunately, bid farewell to their mother (portrayed by Neena Gupta), It is a heartwarming story of every Indian family ever that takes the gloomiest period to make sunshine and promises to be closer though a loved one has gone far away. Amitabh Bachchan and Rashmika Mandanna will be seen sharing a father-daughter relationship and their bond evolves with the changing aspects of life. The film portrays the mayhem of every family dealing with the ups and downs that life throws but it also gently reminds the significance of being there for each other, through it all.

This story, produced by Ektaa R Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures in association with Good Co., also talks about the meaning of self and how much one should let go of, to merge well with their family. We see Rashmika Mandanna’s modernised character struggle with this a lot, all through the trailer. Will she be able to figure out the real essence of a family?

GoodBye also explores the age-old concept of traditions versus the modern need to follow one’s heart and choices. We see Rashmika Mandanna’s character struggle with the fact that these traditions aren’t at all what her mother would’ve liked or appreciated. In fact, we also see her arguing with her father about the meaning behind all of these. This debate has been approached by Bollywood time and again and it seems like this movie is all set to solve it, once and for all.

Will Neena Gupta’s fun-loving and daring character get the ending that she always wanted or will traditions brought in the pandits, win this race too?
