Twitter Can’t Help But Gush About Deepika Padukone’s Performance In ‘Gehraiyaan’ And The Complexities That The Movie Addresses
D-day is here. It’s the day when Gehraiyaan has finally released on Amazon Prime and has left it on the audience to decide whether the movie has sailed or sunk. The hype around the movie has been going on for quite some time now – for its mind-blowing cast that includes Deepika Padukone, Ananya Panday, Dhairya Karwa, and Siddhant Chaturvedi, the plotline that has infidelity at its core, the chemistry between the actors, its music, etc. The trailer of Gehraiyaan had fans eagerly waiting for the movie to be released and now that it is out, fans have had a lot to say about it.
Gehraiyaan in itself is a ride. It takes you through a series of different emotions and leaves you in them so you can experience them to the fullest. Shakun Batra’s movie has a whole different take on infidelity sans judgement. And turning his vision into reality is the whole cast that includes Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday, Dhairya Karwa, and Naseeruddin Shah. But then again this is what I thought about the movie, which I can say is what resonates with most of the fans who saw the movie.

Shakun Batra’s Gehraiyaan has definitely left an impact on fans like most of his other movies. His take on infidelity is very very different from other Bollywood movies that chastise it. And I think that very fact combined with the complexities of relationships is what has fans swooning. If you haven’t watched it yet, then give it a watch on Amazon Prime Video.
