Ex-Couple Aamir Khan And Kiran Rao Came Together To Celebrate Son Azad’s Birthday. We Love This Modern Family!

Former couple Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao got divorced in July, this year. And for some silly reason, it was the subject of a lot of discussions. Recently, they came together to celebrate their son Azad Rao Khan‘s birthday. Author and columnist Shobhaa De shared a few pictures and videos from the birthday celebration on her social media accounts. She shared the photos and videos on Tuesday, December 1. Aamir’s elder son Junaid Khan, from his former and first wife Reena Dutta, can also be seen in the photos.

The celebration was an intimate family gathering. The doting parents made sure to make their son’s special day a memorable one, it can be seen from the photos of birthday boy Azad Rao Khan where he’s smiling brightly. 

Aamir can be seen engrossed in a deep conversation in one of the pictures. Shobhaa De wrote in the caption, “#portraitsbyde A warm and wonderful evening with scrumptious ghar ka khaana… #togetherness #famjam @aamirkhanproductions.” The other pictures include Kiran Rao and Azad with a birthday cake.

Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao got married in the year 2005, they first met on the sets of Lagaan. They both welcomed their first son Azad Rao Khan through surrogacy in 2011. From his first marriage with Reena Dutta, Aamir has a daughter Ira and son Junaid.

Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao announced their separation in July, this year. But the couple is still friends and co-parenting their child, Azad. They are also working together on the film Laal Singh Chaddha.

Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s upcoming film Laal Singh Chaddha is a Hindi adaptation of the Hollywood movie Forrest Gump starring Tom Hanks. The film also features Naga Chaitanya. The film is a comedy-drama, directed by Advait Chandan from a screenplay written by Eric Roth and Atul Kulkarni.
