The teaser of their upcoming film, Double XL is finally here and watching Sonakshi and Huma roasting fat shaming is funny and relatable AF. Why so cute, you both?

I believe that we need more films that champion body positivity and self-love and looks like God has decided to fulfil my wish. On Thursday, the makers of the highly-anticipated film Double XL dropped its official teaser and we cannot stop laughing after watching Sonakshi Sinha and Huma Qureshi calling out fat shaming in the most hilarious and relatable way. In the teaser, Sonakshi and Huma are having fun banter about fat shaming. Huma jokes about how the world manages to find body fat even in an oversized kurta. She also mentions that the jeans always get stuck around the thighs (which is so real!) no matter how much you try to tuck your tummy in. Sonakshi goes on to highlight how men have weird demands from women when it comes to their figures: They want a big bust with a small waist! But the best jibe is when she says, “Tumse kuch chhota-bada maang liya to kahan jaaoge tum (What will you do if we ask for something big or small).”

Directed by Satramm Ramani, Double XL also stars Zaheer Iqbal and Mahat Raghavendra in pivotal roles. Double XL is all set to release in cinemas on October 14, 2022. We need this film double jaldi!
