Billie Eilish Reveals She Started Watching Porn At Age 11, And It Destroyed Her Brain. That Can Totally Happen

Grammy-winner Billie Eilish is one of the few singers who achieved global success at a young age. She is the youngest artist in Grammy history and second overall to win all four general field categories including Best New Artist, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Album of the Year in the same year. Recently, she revealed that she started watching porn from a young age and it negatively impacted her life. Billie Eilish said that she started watching porn at the age of 11 and it destroyed her brain.

On Monday, the 19-year-old singer appeared on a show where she discussed her experiences with porn and how the explicit content influenced her own first sexual experiences and mental health. According to Eilish, she was only 11 years old when she began watching porn because initially, it made her feel like she’s “one of the guys”. However, she now views porn as a disgrace.

“As a woman, I think porn is a disgrace. I used to watch a lot of porn, to be honest. I started watching porn when I was like 11,” she said. Billie Eilish further added that it really destroyed her brain and she feels incredibly devastated that she was exposed to so much porn. The Bad Guy singer believes that the violent and abusive content in the porn videos that she used to watch contributed to her sleep paralysis and night terrors. That’s so horrible, to be honest!

The singer was exposed to so much violent videos content that it impacted her first sexual experiences and what she gave her consent to. She said, “The first few times I had sex, I was not saying no to things that were not good. It was because I thought that’s what I was supposed to be attracted to. I’m so angry that porn is so loved, and I’m so angry at myself for thinking that it was okay.”

Billie Eilish also acknowledged that the pornography industry reinforces unrealistic beauty standards for women. She discussed her love life and admitted that it is hard for her to meet people now, some people are terrified of her and others think that she’s out of their league. She struggles when it comes to dating and convinced herself that she would be “single for the rest of my life”. Oh Billie, we are so sorry that this happened to you. And believe it or not, so many of us women struggle with the same notions.
