Beyoncé In Talks To Perform Her Oscar Nominated ‘King Richard’ Track At The 94th Academy Awards

I don’t know about you guys I personally tend to be super enthusiastic regarding the Oscars. I personally enjoy how it is not only an opportunity to appreciate good films but also gives me the chance to explore any movies I might have missed. However, what is better than just the Oscars? Oscars plus our queen, Beyoncé! You heard that right, Beyoncé might be performing at the 94th Acadamy Awards and I cannot wait!

Beyoncé is all set for her first Oscar nomination in the Best Original Song category with her song ‘Alive’ which is co-written with Dixson. The song was created for the Will Smith movie King Richard. The singer has apparently been approached for a performance at the Oscars. Us Beyoncé fans have a lot to look forward to as there is news that she might be opening the Acadamy Awards with her performance which she will be broadcasting live from Tennis courts in Crompton, California.

The performance from the tennis court could also be an ode to tennis legends Venus Williams and Serena Williams who have produced King Richard as a way to honour their father who introduced them to the sport and guided their careers. Beyoncé has previously performed at the Oscars in 2005, 2007, and 2009. In the event that she is unable to do a live performance, reports say that she might do a pre-taped one.
