‘Bedhadak’: Karan Johar To Launch Shanaya Kapoor, Lakshya, Gurfateh Pirzada In New Dharma Film
Other than being known for his movies and partaking in gossip, Karan Johar is also known for launching new actors – especially star kids. And this time around it is no different. The owner of Dharma Productions had created quite a stir yesterday when he announced that he was welcoming 3 new members to the Dharma family. Needless to say, fans were left guessing who they were. Well, the wait is over. Karan Johar recently took to his Instagram to introduce the 3 new actors – Shanaya Kapoor, Gurfateh Pirzada, and Lakshya – who will play leads in his upcoming movie Bedhadak.

Karan Johar took to Instagram and shared 4 different posts – three introductory posts of Shanaya Kapoor, Gurfateh Pirzada, and Lakshya, and the most recent one are three posters of his upcoming movie Bedhadak. The movie is going to be directed by Shashank Kahitaan.

Sharing the first look of Lakshya as Karan in Bedhadak, Karan Johar wrote, “Looks that will melt your heart just as easily as his smile will. Presenting @itslakshya as Karan in #Bedhadak. Directed by the maestro of emotions, Shashank Khaitan!”

Karan Johar went on to introduce the female lead of Bedhadak, Shanaya Kapoor aka Nimrit. He introduced her as, “Introducing the gorgeous @shanayakapoor02 as Nimrit in #Bedhadak. An enchanting force to look out for, I can’t wait to see the energy she brings onto the screen!”

Last but not the least, he introduced the final lead of the movie Gurfateh Pirzada. The Student Of The Year director revealed, “His brooding good looks will have you smitten in no time! Watch Angad’s character come alive in #Bedhadak with @gurfatehpirzada bringing his effortless suave onto the big screen!” However, this is not the actor’s first collaboration with Karan Johar – he has previously starred in a movie called Guilty (2020).

The director and producer also went on to share the poster for the upcoming movie Bedhadak which will be directed by Shashank Khaitan. In his post, he said, “We’re bringing to you a new era of love – one that’s filled with passion, intensity & boundaries that will be crossed…#Bedhadak!❤️ Starring, our latest addition to the Dharma Family – #Lakshya, @shanayakapoor02 & @gurfatehpirzada! From the looks of it and the way he’s described the Bedhadak in his post, it seems as though we’ll have another love triangle story from the Koffee With Karan host. And if that’s the case, I really want to know what is with him and love triangles? Honestly, I’m just glad that these are not students in yet another Dharma movie. Having said that, I really can’t wait to see what the movie is all about and whether the new age actors have any potential or not.
