Anushka Sharma’s Prep To Play Jhulan Goswami In ‘Chakda ‘Xpress’ Is Taking Her To This UK City
We’ve all heard a lot of actors from Hollywood and Bollywood open up about the different things they’ve learnt or taken training in for a role. I mean, remember the time Priyanka Chopra took training so that she could aptly portray an agent in Quantico? And she is not the only one. Recently, even Anushka Sharma is undergoing rigorous training so that she can perfectly portray the former Indian women’s cricket captain Jhulan Goswami in the biopic, Chakda ‘Xpress. In fact, Anushka Sharma is extremely serious about her training and is even now packing her bags to fly to Leeds for an intensive training session for her upcoming sports movie Chakda ‘Xpress. Now, this is what you call dedication, isn’t it?

Anushka Sharma kicked off the shoot for her upcoming sports biopic Chakda ‘Xpress which will tell the tale of Jhulan Goswami, the former Indian women’s cricket captain. The actress who was on a sabbatical for four years is making a comeback with this movie. Not to forget that this is her first movie since she embarked on the journey of being a mother to her daughter Vamika.

As per reports, Anushka Sharma is all set to leave for Leeds later this month – August – along with her trainer who is helping her to prepare herself for Chakda ‘Xpress. The intensive bowling training will go on for two weeks and in those two weeks, she will be polishing her bowling skills.

A source revealed, “Anushka (Sharma) had a fair amount of training earlier this year before director Prosit Roy called the action on the project. But she is leaving no stone unturned to become Jhulan (Goswami) on screen. She will fly to Leeds in mid-August to work with her coach to pick up Jhulan’s style of bowling”. The actress is doing this and much more to give her best in Chakda ‘Xpress.
