Kanye West Is The Poster Boy For Problematic Behaviour Post His Divorce With Kim Kardashian
Abusers and abusive behaviour are hard to detect when you’re in a relationship with the said abuser. However, when you’re an outsider it is easier to see the red flags. That’s why you need your best friends, to be honest whistle-blowers who call out the red flags as they are. And I feel like one of the major faces of problematic behaviour in a relationship and post-breakup is Kanye West. He has been in the news for years due to his problematic behaviour; throwback to 2009 when he hijacked Taylor Swift’s (a 19-year-old at the time) award acceptance speech at MTV’s Video Music Awards.
However, he has been in the spotlight recently after his breakup with Kim Kardashian. Kanye West has been acting pretty problematic and dare I say, stalkerish after the split and here are the 6 most problematic things he has done since the breakup:
1. Publicly Begging Kim Kardashian To Take Him Back
In the ‘Free Larry Hoover’ benefit concert that West had with Drake, he publicly appealed that Kim Kardashian comes back to him by changing his rap verse and saying “I need you to run right back to me,” additionally said, “More specifically, Kimberly.” Yikes! Big yikes!
2. Buying A House Across The Street From Kim’s House
So after being unsuccessful in salvaging the marriage, West bought a home worth $4.5 million across from the street from Kim Kardashian’s current and his former, according to reports. This could presumably be so he can co-parent the children with Kim but it just looks super weird, in my opinion.
3. Gifting Julia Fox A Hotel Suite Full Of Clothes
On his second date with Julia Fox, West gifted her a hotel suite full of designer clothes, according to sources. While this behaviour might not be clearly problematic, I personally believe it is a bit too much, too soon and very pushy in nature.

4. Making A Diss Track On Kim’s Alleged New Man, Pete Davidson
You know how teenage boys shit talk about the girl from next door that rejected him and spread rumours about guys she could potentially be with? That’s essentially what West did here by making a track dissing Pete Davidson in collaboration with The Game, the song called, ‘Eazy.’ the verses go, “N**ga, we havin’ the best divorce ever,” West raps. “If we go to court, we’ll go to court together/Matter of fact, pick up your sis, we’ll go to Kourt’s together.” West also adds, “God saved me from that crash, just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s ass.” Real mature.
5. Spreading Rumours About Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson
West claimed that he wasn’t allowed into Kim’s house post-divorce but Pete was. However, this was disputed a source said that Kim has drawn strict boundaries and Pete has never been inside Kim Kardashian’s home. A source said, “Pete has never been to the house,” and added, “He has never met the kids.” The source also said that Kim has set boundaries (as she should) and West isn’t allowed to come over unannounced, which is essentially what happened.
6. Making Everything Private, A Public Affair
Kanye West also claimed that Kim Kardashian did not invite him to their daughter Chicago’s 4th birthday party. He said that he was banned from the party and was worried his absence would leave a mark on their daughter. However, an insider said that Kim was shocked by this allegation as West is apparently the one that suggested they have separate parties. Pick a side, will you?
Julia Fox says that she feels safe with West but after all this, I definitely don’t. Kanye West reminds me of the men I have read about in spotting red flags articles. He seems obsessive and manipulative. I am just glad that Kim Kardashian is able to draw boundaries and maintain them. For her’s and the children’s safety.
