Aamir Ali And Sanjeeda Shaikh Are Officially Divorced After 9 Years Of Marriage
2021 has been witness to some shocking celebrity breakups and now with the start of 2022, another couple has officially ended their marriage. After months of speculation, actors Aamir Ali and Sanjeeda Shaikh are now divorced. Headed for separation, the couple has now ended their nine-year-long relationship. While the two have been tight-lipped about the same, a source close to the couple said, “It has been around nine months since the divorce papers came through. They have moved on in their respective lives. Both of them are extremely private, and thus didn’t wish to give out any official statement about the divorce.”

The source also suggests that the custody of their two-year-old daughter Ayra has been given to Sanjeeda Shaikh. The two have been popular faces in the Indian television world and have made it to many reality shows and public appearances together. Aamir Ali and Sanjeeda Shaikh became a household name through their onscreen chemistry in the popular 2007 show Kya Dill Mein Hai, which is said to be the stepping stone of their bond. After years of dating, the two got married in 2012. However, the surprising news of their separation around the time they became parents to baby girl Ayra in 2020, left their fans heartbroken.

As per the reports earlier, Aamir and Sanjeeda decided to live separately, and a source close to the couple revealed, “Differences started cropping up between them some time ago, but they were trying their best to not let it hamper their relationship. Matters escalated a few days after Sanjeeda returned from a shoot in London in October last year, and she left for her parental home. Though they continued to be in touch for some time after that, they stopped talking to each other over a month ago. Since the differences are a result of minor issues, we are hoping that they will reconcile.”
But both Aamir and Sanjeeda’s take on the rumours never made it to the public forum, as they abided by the “no comments” policy. Just like this most loved television jodi, recently actors Vivian Dsena and Vahbiz Dorabjee issued a joint statement on December 18, 2021, to announce their divorce.
