Ranbir Kapoor is all set to return to the big screen after a break of nearly 4 years with his upcoming period-action drama film Shamshera, alongside Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt. Produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films and directed by Karan Malhotra, Shamshera is scheduled for a theatrical release on July 22, 2022. Ahead of the film’s release, Ranbir Kapoor and Vaani Kapoor set the temperature soaring with their new sizzling photoshoot. While social media is buzzing with talks about the chemistry between the actors, we couldn’t help but notice Vaani Kapoor’s beauty look.
Dressed in a black layered ensemble with a cut-out slip dress paired with diamond shoulder drop earrings, Vaani Kapoor completed her look with a statement beauty look that has blown us away. For the uninitiated, Ranbir Kapoor will be playing a double role for the first time in his career in the period-drama film Shamshera. He will be playing the role of Balli and Shamshera. Sanjay Dutt will be playing the role of the antagonist, Daroga Shuddh Singh, in the film and Vaani Kapoor will play the character of a dancer, Sona. It also stars Ronit Roy, Saurabh Shukla and Ashutosh Rana in supporting roles. The story is set in the 1800s and follows a dacoit tribe and their fight for independence against the British raj.
