Who doesn’t know Masaba Gupta? Yes, she is known for being the iconic Neena Gupta’s daughter but she is so much more than that. She is a fashion designer with her own label known as House Of Masaba and is known for her quirky and out-of-the-box designs. She’s an actor now too, with her Netflix show Masaba Masaba already ready with a Season 2! She also collaborated with Nykaa a while back and launched her own line of perfumes, lipsticks and nail polishes on their website. So it doesn’t come as a surprise to anyone that she would be into makeup and posts about it on her Instagram. Just this morning, Masaba took to Instagram and posted a very basic makeup tutorial and it is so pretty that I have to talk about it!

Firstly, can we talk about how amazing her skin is? She did not use foundation and frankly, Masaba does not need it. She started the tutorial by spraying her face with Kama Ayurveda Pure Rose Water, which she says is a staple in her bag and ‘hydration heaven.’ I personally have heard great things about this product as well. She then lightly contours her face using Nudestix All Over Face Contour Stick in the shade Terracotta Tan. She says she was gifted this product but it has become a favourite as she misses the sunkissed tan the beach would give her and this product does just that. And who can blame her? We all love the sunkissed glow that a day at the beach leaves us with! Masaba used the Nudestix Multi-Use Stick in the shade Beach Babe as a blush to add a subtle pop of colour to her beautiful tanned skin. She finished by using an eyeliner by Fenty Beauty and Pat McGrath’s flesh Fantasy Lust Gloss; a beautiful shade that is a cross between pink and mauve. Masaba then completed her look with a gold bindi to dazzle up the natural and fresh make-up look.
Mira Rajput Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor’s wife also commented on the post, praising Nudestix for their products; compelling me to buy and try them.
As much as I love my red lipsticks and long-winged liners, I do enjoy makeup looks like Masaba’s which are low-effort and make you look presentable at the same time. Now all I need is for her to drop a skincare routine (or line, please) because her skin is glowing! Don’t know about you but I will be recreating this look for my next outing, for sure!
