Get The Look: Sonam Kapoor’s Tropical Eye Makeup
The newlywed, Sonam Kapoor, is back from her successful run at Cannes, and instead of honeymooning with her beau, she is now busy promoting her upcoming film Veere Di Wedding along with Kareena Kapoor Khan. While she is at it, she is giving us MAJOR #OOTD goals. But what Sonam also gives us is some serious beauty goals, experimenting with her makeup and hair look.
For her latest promotional appearance, she was seen wearing a beautiful, summery, green eye that looked tropical and oh-so-refreshing. The look was an instant crush for us. So, here is breaking it down for you.
Wet n Wild Photo Focus Concealer (Rs 399)
Step 1
When working with popping, bright colours you want to start by priming your lids, and then applying a neutralising concealer to set the base. This will make the eyeshadow more pigmented, and help it pop!
Step 2
Taking a pearl white eye shadow (make sure you don’t use a stark white), and apply it all over your lids starting from the inner corner. This will help create a base for the green shadow.
Step 3
Now apply a brown eye shadow in the crease, in a sweeping motion to contour your lids.
Step 4
Lightly dust the green eye shadow on your lids. Also, using the same brown you used to contour your eyes, line your lids along your lash line for a light line that is not so stark.
Step 5
Don’t forget to fill your eyebrows, in soft hair-like upward strokes.
Step 6
Lightly dust a peach-hued blush on your cheeks. Don’t go too crazy with your blush, as you want the eye colour to be the point of focus.
Step 7
Top the look up with a healthy dose of mascara.
Step 8
Finish off with nude gloss!
Now go flaunt your Sonam Kapoor-inspired tropical eye makeup.
