How To Get Heatless Beachy Waves Overnight

Do you ever wake up on some days wishing you were born with beachy, gorgeous waves instead of poker straight or curly hair? I certainly do. That constant struggle of waking up and ironing or curling your hair every other day not only takes too long, but it damages your hair in the process too.

Of course, we’re all aware of the harm hot tools cause, but we go ahead and do it anyway — because how else is one supposed to achieve those effortless waves? Well, there is a way and it will even let you wake up in the morning and say, “I woke up like this.”

Here’s a super easy, heatless way to get beachy waves overnight.

Easy right? All you need is a bandana, some U pins, a rubber band, and hairspray. A regular cloth hairband works just as well, but it’s always fun to keep it cute with a bandana, like the one I’ve used. I got mine from Colaba Causeway in Mumbai.

I tend to do this on two-day old hair. Just add in some dry shampoo on the roots if your hair has gotten oily, and roll away. It’s the best style for when you’re too lazy to wash your hair and just want to revive it and, of course, for when you’re not even close to the beach, but want the look anyway.
