Like just every year, FDCI x Lakmé Fashion Week wrapped up with a bang as Aneet Padda walked for Péro, turning all the heads for her look. This year’s designers, including Rahul Mishra, Amit Aggarwal, and more, got to showcase their work during the show. The LFW, which started on 19th March saw multiple beauty looks on the ramp as well, which were a blend of chic and bold metallic hues. Here are the beauty trends that are living in our heads rent-free.

Metallic shades

This year, the makeup artists were not afraid to use the metallic shades on the ramp. Their creativity truly sparked when metallic lashes were also used, making the overall look more versatile. They struck out against the light beautifully, which has prompted us to try out those shades from our palettes.

Face-Framing Curls

What a beautiful sight it was to see creativity with hair. Face-framing curls on models made it very edgy and unique, something we don’t get to see often. With a lot of precision, the hairstylists created that beauty look. We also got to see edgy space buns, which restored our faith that there is more to life than just sticking with the sleek low buns.

Colour Pop

The FDCI x Lakmé Fashion Week also saw pops of colours with blue and yellow shades. Bold colours popped against the lights, which truly went well with the models’ outfits. The pop of colours brought in that much-needed freshness that our eyes were yearning for. So yes, this remains as one of the standout beauty trends!

Blush blindness is so in right now. It seems that it will continue to be a beauty trend of the year, after seeing how it dominated the runway. Seeing Tamaanaah Bhatia’s rosy cheeks along with her outfit, made us go “wow”.
