I have had glasses since I was around 6 years old. Another fact about me is that I am a makeup fiend. Now, most people think that people have this weird misconception that people with glasses can’t enjoy or wear makeup which is completely wrong, and as a chashmish woman who loves makeup, I am here to dispel that myth. Moreover, if you are a self-conscious queen who thinks that eye makeup is a waste on you because of your glasses, I shall take it upon myself t fix your crown too! While the common misconception is that eye makeup isn’t for those who use glasses but that couldn’t be further from the truth! Glasses already help accentuate your eyes and being smart about your eye makeup will help highlight them further. Here are some tips you can do the same:
1. eye-catching eyeliner is a must
I cannot stress this enough. LEARN HOW TO DO YOUR EYELINER! It makes a bigger difference than you think. Learning how to do a few basic eyeliner styles will help shape your eyes and you can go as big or as subtle as you want.
2. Don’t underestimate kajal ka karishma
Kajal is a criminally underrated product and I will yell about it from the rooftops! And no, it doesn’t need to be reserved for only ethnic looks. You can steer away from the traditional, full-eye kajal look and only line your upper waterline to add to the effect your eyeliner will create. Coloured eye pencils also help for an edgy look and a subtle pop of colour. White and skin colour eyes will make you seem fresher and more awake.

3. The marvelous mascara!
Mascaras are some of the best tools to highlight your eyes. Depending on the mascara you choose, you can elongate, curl and add volume to your lashes which will look stunning through the glasses. Using it with a lash curler is ideal!
4. Benefit from brow shapes
Do your brows! And I mean both: grooming and makeup! Use proper tools to shape and groom your brows which will help frame your face and eyes. It will also add to eye look and will draw attention away from the glasses and to your eyes.
5. Cause hulchul with highlighter
Using the correct high points in your face to highlight is key. Apply some highlighter to the cheekbones, under your brows, and also the corners of your eyes. You can also line your under-eye with a highlighter to add a subtle glow to your face without going overboard.

6. Show Your Creativity with eyeshadow
Eyeshadow isn’t a necessity but it does help accentuate your eyes. You can go for a natural colour palette if you are going for an everyday look or a more poppy colour if it is a girl’s night out. Matte or shimmery, you can go as crazy or as subtle with your eyeshadow look as you want.
