In an exclusive interview on Hauterrfly’s HF Raid, actress Nimrrit Kaur Ahluwalia, best known for her role in the hit TV show Choti Sarrdaarni, shared a unique hack for wearing heavy earrings. Nimrrit’s character in the show became iconic for her stunning jewellery pieces, which fans admired, but behind the glamour, there was a fair share of discomfort.
Nimrrit Kaur Ahluwalia’s Heavy Earring Hacks
During the interview, Nimrrit revealed how challenging it was to wear such heavy jewellery for extended hours during long shoots. She described the pain of constantly wearing oversized earrings and elaborate accessories, but she admitted that the effort was worth it. The jewellery, along with the show’s elaborate outfits, became a crucial part of her on-screen persona and resonated deeply with the audience.
In fact, Nimrrit became so attached to her on-screen look that she kept one of the earrings from Choti Sarrdaarni as a souvenir, a keepsake from her time on the show that fans still remember her for. She shared, “ It was a pain to wear but I feel like it was worth it because like the jewellery, the outfits all of it was something that resonated with so much with people, I even kept one earring from the show as well.”
When asked about her secret to handling the discomfort of wearing such heavy earrings for hours, Nimrit shared a helpful hack. She confessed to using a numbing cream to ease the pain and relying on a kaan chain to distribute the weight of the earrings. However, despite these tricks, she acknowledged that wearing the jewellery still came with a good idea of discomfort. She revealed,” I use a numbing cream and kaan chain, but honestly it was still painful.”
