Gauri Khan And Shah Rukh Khan’s Amazing Relationship Proves Old School Love Is Much Better Than Millennial Romance!
Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan are the most adorable couple of Bollywood, with a love story that’s reads like a romantic novel. Shah Rukh first met Gauri at a party when he was barely 18 years old. It was love at first sight for him, and after being in a relationship for a few years, the duo got married in 1991!
They have been married for 28 years and have supported each other through thick and thin. Shah Rukh and Gauri had their first child, Aryan in 1997, while daughter Suhana was born in 2000. They welcomed their youngest child, AbRam in 2013. The love they share gives us major family goals!
So at a recent book launch, when Gauri was asked how being a star wife, impacts her career, she said: “I think because of who he (Shah Rukh) is, there are a lot of positives. I only take the positives and I don’t take the negatives.” She further added, “Even if there are some negatives, I have to brush it aside and the reason is very simple… because he helped me while launching Gauri Khan Designs, so, he is very important to me.”
Gauri also revealed that in fact, Shah Rukh has done a lot for the entire fam. She expressed, “Jokes apart, he has done a lot for our family. He is a great father and husband. I have to say that there are only positives being his wife and I would not like to share anything negative.”

We absolutely adore him for being the family guy that he is. He has not just claimed his rightful place as the king of Bollywood, but he also makes our heart melt with his amazing charm. From his family and friends to his colleagues and employees, Shah Rukh is known to treat everyone with utmost love and respect. In fact, we love how romance used to be. You meet each other, fall in love and fight for each other throughout. There wasn’t any benching, or ghosting or situationships.
Gauri too, has a humanitarian nature, and complements her hubby well. While Mr Khan loves the spotlight, Mrs Khan prefers to distance herself from the paparazzi time and again. When asked how she manages to do that, being the first lady of Bollywood, she said, “I feel that I am leading a very normal life, where I am just another working woman like anyone else. I pick and choose when I want to be in spotlight, which is only connected to my work and when I need to use the media. I feel media is important when you are showcasing your work as people need to know what you are doing. So, I enjoy that part as well.”
