Deepika Padukone Nails Every Detail Of Her Dior Look For Paris Fashion Week And There Are So MANY
Tuesday afternoon at the Paris Longchamp Racecourse: Paris got drenched in pretty prints when Deepika Padukone stepped out of her car. The leggy beauty was a guest of Dior for their spring/summer 2020 show in Paris and turned up in a great outfit. It is quite rare to have every single element of your outfit work, especially when there are so many. Deepika did not shy away from going OTT at the Paris Fashion Week presentation and we love her extravagance in the ensemble. Also, we have not seen her slaying this tricky colour brown before!
Deepika kept things simple as a base, with just a printed maxi dress and long overcoat being her chosen companions for the FROW. It was everything else that she and stylist Shaleena Nathani did with her look that landed so well.
Simply put, it is just a maxi dress from Dior. The dark African prints that covered every nook and cranny of the dress is what we loved. It can be tricky to do all over nature prints, you might end up getting lost in the dress. But the big bow on the bodice and off-shoulder detail balanced it out perfectly. We know that Deepika loves flowers, so her channeling a groovy bouquet with her look isn’t a surprise either!
Those Boots And Coat!
No woman will ever waste a pair of sexy knee-high boots on a maxi dress! But Deepika is not such a woman. The actress paired her outfit with tie-up fishnet boots, a cheeky little detail you can add if you want to! We were also surprised to see her pairing a heavy coat on top of an already elaborate dress. But somehow, all these extra elements came together perfectly and looked so good!
The Makeup And Hair
As ‘extra’ as her outfit is, Deepika’s makeup look is a complete 180! The actress went for a glowing base, soft brows and cheeks, nude lips and a sleek winged liner. We also loved the puffed crown they created on her, framing her face perfectly. Deepika knows how to give the illusion of effortless styling, even though it took careful work to put together.
All The Accessories
A golden rule of fashion women abide by is to go light with the accessories if you have a scene-stealing outfit. But we saw some very unique pieces on Deepika for her Dior look. Stacked golden chains, matching printed bandana, and hippy glasses completed the look. We have Zeenat Aman singing ‘Dum Maro Dum‘ in our heads and Deepika recreated that song right on the runway with her look.
We are not sure about the chillum though!
On the work front, both Ranveer and Deepika will be seen in 83, the story of India’s iconic 1983 World Cup win. Ranveer will be seen portraying the role of Kapil Dev and Deepika will play his wife, Romi Dev. Deepika is also working on Chappak which will mark her debut as a producer.
