Nikhat Zareen, Nitu Ghanghas, Lovlina Borhohai In Women’s World Boxing Championship Finals, Silver Assured
The Women’s World Boxing Championship is ongoing, and three Indian boxers have made the nation proud with their entry in the finals.
Nikhat Zareen beat Ingrit Valencia in the 50 kgs weight category to secure her place in the finals.
Nitu Ghanghas also marched into the finals after beating Alua Balkibekova. She will play in the 48kg category in the finals.
Lovlina Borgohain beat China's Li Qian to storm into the finals and will play in the 75 Kg category.
Saweety Boora beat Belarus' Viktoria Kebikava to secure her place in the finals in the 81 kg category. She will up against Emma-Sue Greentree in the next round.
It is a matter of pride for India as four female boxers have displayed her prowess in the ring and marched into the finals. We're keeping our fingers crossed!
