Here's  A Quick Recipe To Make Ganesha's Favourite, Modaks!

Ingredients for the filling: Ghee, Jaggery and Grated Coconut.

Take a pan, add grated coconut and jaggery to the ghee, and  stir on medium flame till you get a dry mixutre.

For the Dough: Boil  one cup of water, add pinch of salt and two teaspoon of ghee, bring it to boil,

Then add one cup of flour to the water, and stir the mixture well till it becomes a lumpy dough.

Set aside the dough to cool. Then take balls from the dough, make  them flat and round.

Fill them with the mixture, and then use a mould maker to give them the modak shapes.

Lastly, you just have to steam them, and you can also drizzle some saffron  on top. Your modaks are ready!
