Take a walk in the park  Leave your phone at home and go for a walk in the park. Sit on a park bench and breathe in the clean air and soak in the sun!

Spend meal time with family  Dr Mickey Mehta suggests that while having meals, one should keep their phones away and focus on the food and having a good talk with family members.  

No scrolling phone in bed  Bed time is for the brain to disengage and relax. So, keep your phone away from you or make a habit of not scrolling your phone or any other device before bed. 

Meditation  Meditation is one of the best ways to disengage your brain and just unwind from the day's stress. Keep your phone aside for 15 minutes, sit cross-legged and meditate to digitally detox your brain. 

Take up other activities  Engage in other creative activities to stay away from your phone or digital devices. You can opt to read a book or paint something! Dr Mehta says that a detox will give you an opportunity to explore other hobbies!
