5 Stylish Maternity Looks For Moms-To-Be

So, I’m half-way through my pregnancy. Yay! But I’m not going to lie. Pregnancy has its ups and downs, and one definite downer is maternity clothes. I don’t know about you, but I find most of them… well, ugly. So, now that my belly is growing and my regular wardrobe doesn’t fit, I went scouting for new clothes.
Here’s a look at some of the outfits I put together to flaunt my baby bump, and they’re not from the maternity section. (Confession: I have gone up two sizes!)
Look 1: Go With The Flow
Empire line dresses are my go-to when it comes to flaunting my baby bump in style. Choose florals and flowy fabrics to keep the look chic and comfy.
Look 2: Mommy On The Move
What I love about this dungaree dress is that I don’t need to compromise on style for comfort. Teamed with cute sneakers and a pair of hoops, it’s the perfect outfit for a day of baby shopping!
Look 3: Summer Night Out
You don’t have to retire your shorts completely. I love these gingham shorts with an elastic waist band coz they have room for me to grow. Plus, I can dress them up or down if I please!
Look 4: Double Duty
Once your belly starts to show, switch to easy silhouettes and stretchy leggings, especially for work days. You can wear these pieces even after the baby arrives. I like to team this look with block heels, or flats if I’m going to have a long day.
Look 5: Keeping It Casual
Who said you can’t wear rompers now that your preggers? Choose a strapless one with smocking that you can easily slip off… you know you might need to! Also, wedges are your best friend when it comes to wearing heels.
