WFI Chief Says He Will Undergo Narco Test If Vinesh Phogat, Bajrang Punia Take It Too!

The Indian wrestlers’ protests have intensified over the last couple of days, and despite support pouring in from the entire nation it is disheartening to see no action being taken against the WFI CHief, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. Award-winning wrestlers of the likes of Vinesh Phogat, Sakshi Malik and Bajrang Punia have taken to the streets demanding that FIR be filed against Sharan Singh as they have accused him of sexually harassing the female wrestlers and the coaches over many years. In what comes as the latest development in this tussle, the WFI Chief has come forward to say that he is willing to undergo a narco test but has laid down a condition for the same.

WFI Chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh who is currently accused of sexual harassment allegations took to his Facebook page to write a note about his willingness to undergo a narco test. He wrote that he is ready to take a narco test, a polygraph test and even a lie-detector test but laid conditions for the same. He wants Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia to also take the same tests. Sharan Singh also added that if the wrestlers agree to his terms then, the media can be informed about it as well. Furthermore, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh also promised that he is telling the truth and continue to stand by it.

The protests against the WFI Chief have been going on since the start of the year but after the wrestlers were promised that action will be taken, things came to a pause. In the month of April, the protests stirred up again at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar since no action was taken. Recently, Sharan Singh also went ahead to say that he will hang himself if any allegation against him is proven to be true.
