Catcalling Video Leaves Internet Furious
What all women have to go through on a daily basis. Now, men can’t even behave in temples. A video shared by an social media user Chico Diaries showed the woman recording herself while a group of boys were following her and catcalling her. The boys are heard singing songs. In the video, the girl said that the most weird species are Indian men when they see a girl alone. The woman further added that she was on her way to a temple. In the caption, the woman wrote that the boys thought she wouldn’t understand Hindi, and highlighted that those things happened to her only because she looked different.
Chiro also dismissed allegations that the video was taken only for views, and that she simply wanted to address this situation. The woman also said that she chose not to cry on camera as people would come to scrutinise that too. She also waited for her friends but the men also stopped till her friend came, as per the caption.
In the comment section, many women raised concerns about the situation and called out the audacity. The anger and frustration was evident in the comment section.
