Woman Alleges Delhi’s Pakistan Embassy Staffer Sought Sexual Favours For Visa
The incident happened in 2022.You know, it is true that this world is clearly not a safe place for women and the increasing crime rates is a proof. Some people actually think that they can get whatever they want just because they are powerful and usually, women become their victims. In a shocking incident, a woman said that a staff member of Delhi’s Pakistan Embassy allegedly demanded sexual favours from her for granting a visa.
A woman said that the Pakistan High Commission staff sexually harassed her after she was leaving the embassy. She had applied for a Pakistani visa for a sponsored visit to attend a gurudwara event in that country and she also had to deliver a lecture. According to the reports, the woman mentioned that the officer identified as Mr Asif offered to help her when she was leaving the Pakistan embassy after being denied a visa. After that, she was directed to a room and told to wait for the visa officer. The lady said that Mr Asif held her hand and asked her about her marital status, profession, religion, and sexual desires.
She further added that the accused officer made her feel uncomfortable by asking her what she does to fulfil her sexual desires. The woman said that she wanted to leave but she was told to wait for another 20 minutes and the officer continued to harass her.

The woman also revealed that the officer asked her to write a social media post against Kashmir, India, and PM Narendra Modi which is a very serious allegation. The alleged incident happened in March 2022, as per reports.
She mentioned her ordeal in a letter to Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, the External Affairs Minister of India and also appealed for justice.
