The deceased, Srimantha Itnale, was reportedly known for his abusive behavior and excessive alcohol consumption. According to the police, he attempted to s*xually assault his own daughter, which prompted Savithri to intervene. In a fit of rage and desperation, she struck him with a heavy object, resulting in his death. To hide the crime, Savithri dismembered her husband’s body and discarded the remains in nearby farmland. She also cleaned the crime scene, hid the weapon, and asked her daughter to stay silent about the incident. Initially, Savithri tried to mislead the authorities by blaming an external group for the murder, but investigations revealed her involvement.
