Wife Reportedly Plans Husband’s Murder With Ex-Boyfriend, Tries Covering It With Hit-And-Run
A couple, Anju and Ashish Kumar, were on a walk when a vehicle allegedly hit Ashish, killing him instantly.
What seemed to be an accident took a twisted turn, shedding light on how a wife allegedly planned her husband’s murder. On Friday, Anju and her husband Ashish Kumar were on a walk during which a car was said to have hit the husband, killing him on the spot, whereas Anju was left unconscious on the road with her gold jewellery stolen. Hit And Run Turned Murder Case Details
Three months after Anju wed Ashish Kumar, unhappy with her marriage, she went back to her hometown. There, she and her ex-boyfriend, Sanjay, known as Sanju, reconciled and the two reportedly planned Ashish’s murder. SP Amrita Duhan reportedly stated that Anju started going with Ashish on his post-dinner walks. On the night of January 30, she took her husband to an isolated road where three attackers Sanju, Rocky know as Rohit and Badal, were allegedly hiding in the bushes. The SP revealed that they attacked Ashish brutally, strangling him and tried passing it off as a road accident. Anju allegedly gave away her phone and earrings to the attackers to make it seem like she was robbed. She then pretended to be unconscious.
All Four Accused Arrested
SP Amrita Duhan revealed that they were informed about a man being hit by an unidentified vehicle, leading to his death. The forensic team and the police went to the spot to investigate soon after. Anju reportedly told the police that she and Ashish went for an evening walk and an unidentified vehicle hit her husband and her, claiming that she was robbed as well. Police became suspicious as they noticed multiple discrepancies in her statement and the on-ground reality. According to the medical report, Ashish’s body had injury marks and he also appeared to have been strangled. However, Anju seemingly had no injuries. Police sources also reported that Anju’s phone records showed she was in regular contact with Sanju.
After the attack the couple was taken to the Community Health Centre, where Ashish was declared dead. All four accused have reportedly been arrested.
