Who is Suchana Seth, CEO of Mindful AI Labs Arrested For Allegedly Murdering Her 4 YO Son?

Another horrific incident made headlines on January 9, when the CEO of Mindful AI Labs Suchana Seth was arrested for allegedly killing her 4-year-old son. The incident happened in North Goa when she was accompanied by her son. Suchana was arrested while she was travelling from Goa to Karnataka. As per reports, the police suspect the strained marital relationship between the CEO with her husband is the main cause behind the killing of her child.
What Happened?
On Monday 9, Suchana Seth was arrested in Karnataka’s Chitradurga district, and a police team from Calangute took her back to Goa. She was travelling with her dead child in her luggage. The police were alerted about this by hotel staff after he spotted blood stains on the bedsheet covers. On further investigation, the police discovered that Suchana left the service apartment without her 4-year-old son. After interacting with the staff, the police also learnt that she insisted on going back to Bengaluru in a can even after they tried to convince her that flying back was a better option. After Suchana’s arrest, she was presented before a court in Mapusa town where the judge ordered her in police custody for six days. Suchana’s cab driver from Goa also helped the police during the chase. As per reports, the police believe that Suchana Seth’s strained relationship with her ex-husband is the main motive behind this murder. The accused allegedly did not want her child to meet his father as was given legal permission to do that.
Suchana Seth’s Profession
Suchana Seth is the founder of Mindful AI Labs which deals in Artificial Intelligence. She pursued her Master’s degree in Physics from the University of Calcutta and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physics. From Ramakrishna Mission Institute Of Culture, Suchana pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Sanskrit. Suchana Seth was also named one of the “100 Brilliant Women in AI Ethics for 2021.”Previously she worked as a Data Scientist in reputed organisations and has 12 years of experience in this field.
