The unfortunate demise of the 26-year-old Ketan Agarwal in Pune has shocked everyone after it was known that his fiancée, Siya Goyal, is alleged to have pushed him. This happened just a few months before their marriage, after the investigation revealed that it was her plan all along, in collaboration with her lover, Chetan Chaudhary. Who Is Siya Goyal?
20-year-old Siya Goyal is from a wealthy business family based in Pune, just like her late fiancé, Ketan Agarwal, who was the director and CMO of a family-run real estate business named Success Group. She resides in Bibwewadi, and her family is in the dry fruits trade. She got engaged to Ketan in February 2026 after his maternal uncle played the matchmaker between the two families. The wedding was all set to take place in Rajasthan’s Udaipur in November of this year, and even the hotels were booked for the same. Both their families had reportedly spent Rs 14 crores for this lavish celebration.
However, she had a boyfriend named Chetan Chaudhary, who also owned a business in the same area as Siya’s father. Police revealed that they had been together for a year and got to know each other through business circles. Both Siya and Chetan were in regular contact with each other. Just four days before Ketan Agarwal’s death, he and Siya visited the Lohagad Fort for a trek where she allegedly tried pushing him off a cliff, and when he survived, she claimed that she was saving him from a snake. She further insisted on going back to Lohagad fort on June 18, just a day before her birthday, where she allegedly successfully pushed him.
Siya told the authorities that Ketan fell while taking photographs near the fort.
