After the horrific Delhi Red Fort Blast, a key suspect named Shaheed Saeed came forward and spoke darkly of her ‘work’ starting after 4 pm every day. She said that she logged out of her ‘day job’ at the Al-Falah School of Medical Sciences and Research Centre in Fridabad, as per NDTV. She also had a rosary, which is known as a misbaha or tasbih in Islam, and a hadith book, aka a collection of the Prophet Muhammad’s teachings, officials familiar with the organisation said.

About The Red Fort Key Suspect

A friend of Shaheena told the outlet about her strange behaviour and how she did not adhere to the institution’s rules and often left without informing anyone. The institute served a show-cause notice by the NAAC, and has distanced itself from the Red Fort attack and pledged cooperation with the investigation and “unwavering commitment to the security of the nation”. Saeed was identified as the head of the women’s wing of the Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist group earlier this week.

According to intelligence, the JeM, which was involved in the 2001 Parliament attack and the 2019 Pulwama assault, was heading this cell. According to intelligence, the JeM, which was involved in the 2001 Parliament attack and the 2019 Pulwama assault, was heading this cell.

Saeed, a resident of Lucknow’s Lal Bagh, was detained on Monday, hours before a fourth member of the terror cell, identified by DNA tests as Umar Mohammad, drove and exploded a Hyundai i20 laden with explosives near the Red Fort, killing himself and 13 others. According to intelligence sources, Saeed formerly served as the head of the Pharmacology Department at Kanpur Medical College. She later transferred to Kannauj Medical College.

Two additional suspects, Dr Mujammil Shakeel and Dr Adil Ahmad Rather, were detained before Saeed, highlighting a concerning ‘white-collar terrorist’ aspect to the investigation. According to sources, Saeed would drive the Brezza herself, while Shakeel utilised the Dzire, from which police seized roughly 3,000 kg of explosive chemicals. The Dzire was confiscated on Monday; an assault rifle and ammunition were discovered in the vehicle.
