In a heart-wrenching turn of events, renowned food influencer Rajani Jain, affectionately known as “Chatori Rajani,” has announced the untimely passing of her 16-year-old son, Taran Jain. The young student tragically lost his life in a road accident on February 17, 2025, while returning from a tutoring session. The devastating news was shared by Rajani and her husband, Sangeet Jain, on their social media platforms on February 18, leaving their extensive follower base in profound shock and grief.

In an emotional statement, the couple expressed, “With a shattered heart, we share the unbearable news that our beloved gem, Taran Jain, has passed away in a road accident.” They also announced that a ‘shok sabha’ (memorial service) would be held on February 19 at Terapanth Bhawan in Chattarpur, Delhi, to honor Taran’s memory.
Taran was not only a cherished member of the family but also an integral part of Rajani’s culinary journey. He frequently appeared in her cooking videos, assisting behind the scenes and delighting in tasting her creations. His last appearance was in a video posted on February 5, 2025, where his enthusiasm and support added a personal touch that resonated with their audience.
