HSBC Appoints Its First CFO Pam Kaur
The banking company HSBC has announced Pam Kaur as their Chief Financial Officer. With this, she has become the first woman to take up this post in the lost history of HSBC Bank. Pam Kaur will now be counted among names like Morgan Stanley CFO Sharon Yeshaya JP Morgan’s Mary Erdoes, and others. This is a huge feat in her career considering that she has now paved the way for many women who dream of reaching this level.

Pam Kaur pursued an MBA degree from the Panjab University. She also did a Bcom Hons from the same university situated in Chandigarh.
Earlier Roles
Pam Kaur has worked in the banking sector for many years and has contributed a lot to the industry. Before starting at HSBC, she worked with known banking groups like Citigroup, Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), Lloyds Banking Group, and Deutsche Bank. She held the position of CFO and Chief Operating Officer (COO) at RBS. Pam Kaur kicked off her career with Citigroup as a part of their internal audit.
