As per the reports, the police are suspecting the ex-boyfriend of the murder and are currently on the hunt to track him down. The incident occurred around New Year’s, and it was the ex-boyfriend who filed the missing persons report for the woman. Read here to know more about it.
What Was The Incident?
Nikitha Godishala, a young, bright working professional in the US, was allegedly killed by her ex-boyfriend. As per an NDTV report, the girl’s ex-lover Arjun Sharma filed a missing persons report with the US police on January 2, but he reportedly fled to India soon after. As per the reports, later the police found Nikitha’s body at Arjun’s house and it had many stab wounds on it. The police discovered the body on January 3, and they are suspecting her ex-lover’s involvement in the death, and that the crime happened on December 31, after 7 PM. According to the reports, the US police have also charged the man of with first and second-degree murder. They are currently looking for him.
Nikitha Godishala was working as a Data and Strategy Analyst at Vheda Health in Columbia, in Maryland. She also got an award for her excellent performance in the company and was looking forward to more such achievements and new beginnings in the new year. She pursued pharmacy from the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. As per the reports, Nikitha had pursued her higher studies from University of Maryland, Baltimore County. And before moving to the US, she interned as a Clinical Pharmacist at the Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences Hospitals.
