Educational Qualification

Leah Tata has a master’s in marketing from IE Business School in Madrid, Spain.

Work

As the eldest heir among her siblings Maya Tata and Neville Tata, Leah has already taken up some important responsibilities and manages the hospitality business of the Tata Group. This mostly includes hotels like Taj and has taken the Indian Hotel company to a global stage.

However, in 2006, she started working as the Assistant Sales Manager at the Taj Hotel. She is currently the Manager for Expansion and Development of Taj Hotels. She is responsible for seeing the growth of this luxurious hotel which is a big part of Tata Group’s hospitality wing.

In 2022, Leah Tata also joined the Tata Medical Centre Trust which is a noble initiative started by the Tata Group to make a significant contribution to the healthcare sector. Leah Tata has received immense support and guidance from her late uncle Ratan Tata. She is the emerging heir in the Tata Group and has also proven herself as a strong leader.

The Maharashtra Government has announced a state funeral for Ratan Tata. In a note, Eknath Shinde announced that his remains will be available for public viewing in NCPA South Bombay.
