Artificial Intelligence is the hottest and latest topic of conversation these days. As this technology makes its way into every sector possible, it’s somewhat concerning. But on that later. Currently, the most interesting piece of news in the AI world is that Albania has introduced its first AI Minister to deal with corruption. The female AI minister was introduced by the country’s Prime Minister Edi Rama, as per the news reports. Read on to know more about it.
The First AI Minister For Tackling Corruption!
The first female AI Minister, Diella, was introduced in Albania by the Prime Minister, and she would be given the responsibility of addressing corruption and cleaning up the system. As per the news agency AFP, the AI minister would work on the public tenders and make it corruption free. As for the name Diella, it means ‘Sun’ in Albania, and the announcement was made by the PM during the cabinet meeting of his Socialist Party meeting in which, he also informed that the minister is an AI generated figure that would not be present physically, and is the first Government member of this kind.
As for the working, all the decisions around the public tenders would be taken by the AI Generated minister, and the PM assured that it would be entirely transparent. The AI minister is dressed in the traditional Albania attire, and was initially meant to provide services and documents, and other help to the citizens on the e-Albania platform, and as per the reports it has till now provided 1000’s of services to the public.

The looks like an interesting move but only time will tell how efficient this proves to be.
