Lawrence Bishnoi, a notorious gangster recently in the news for his alleged involvement in the killing of politician Baba Siddique and threats against Bollywood actor Salman Khan, is now set to become the subject of an upcoming web series. As per reports from News18, Jani Firefox Film Production House is planning to release a series titled Lawrence – A Gangster Story, focusing on Bishnoi’s life and criminal exploits.

The Indian Motion Pictures Association has already approved the title, and the web series is expected to delve into Lawrence Bishnoi’s journey from an ordinary individual to one of the most feared gangsters in India. Despite being in jail since 2014, Bishnoi has managed to operate an extensive criminal network both within the country and overseas. The series aims to explore the complex circumstances and events that shaped his rise in the world of organized crime.

Amit Jani, head of the production company, has expressed that the goal is to create an engaging and realistic portrayal of Bishnoi’s life. Jani has previously produced web series inspired by real-life events, including A Tailor Murder Story and Karachi to Noida, indicating a trend in his work of drawing from real incidents. It remains to be seen which significant events from Bishnoi’s life the series will highlight, but audiences can expect a dramatic take on his criminal undertakings.
