Was Sunita Williams At Jantar Mantar Protest Site?
The video claiming that the NASA astronaut Sunita Williams was at the Jantar Mantar protest site to support the students surfaced on Twitter. However, the videos have now circulated all over social media. There is, in fact, no truth to this. The Sunita Williams video claiming that she was at the CJP protest site is from the astronaut’s visit to the Kerala Literature Festival that took place in January. If you look closely, Sunita Williams can also be seen wearing an i-card that has KLF written on it. She can be seen escorted by the police as well.
The social media platform Instagram is now informing you that the video shows false information if you click the Sunita Williams video. Many fake videos of Naseeruddin Shah have also been circulated on social media.
