Indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat’s disqualification from the Olympics left the entire country heartbroken. The wrestler was denied a medal due to a failed weigh-in and was forced out of the 53 kg freestyle wrestling. She appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport for a silver joint medal; however, it was dismissed. Vinesh did everything possible to cut down weight and was admitted to the hospital due to dehydration. During that time, PT Usha visited her and shared a photo in support of her. However, now she has accused the IOA chief of doing politics at the Paris Olympics.

Olympic Association (IOA) president PT Usha visited Vinesh in the hospital and shared a picture with her. Now, the wrestler has accused PT Usha of pretending to support her after her disqualification from the Olympics. In a YouTube video, she claimed that it was all part of politics. During the interview, she said that she didn’t understand what kind of support she received from her. PT Usha madam visited her at the hospital and she clicked one photo. Furthermore, she mentioned that in politics a lot of things happen that others don’t know or can’t see. Just like that, politics happened in Paris too.

She said when she was on the bed she didn’t know what was happening outside and went through one of the most difficult phases in her life. During that moment, PT Usha pretended to support her and clicked a photo without her permission and shared it on social media, claiming that she stood with her. Due to the politics surrounding the entire incident, it raised a huge question for her. In her words, “For what should I continue? There is politics everywhere.” For the unversed, Vinesh Phogat announced her retirement from wrestling and joined the political party, Congress.
