Vijay Deverakonda Questioned By ED In Illegal Betting App Case: Reports

Many popular faces were reportedly summoned by the Enforcement Directorate in an illegal betting case. After Rana Daggubati requested new dates for the summon, in the latest updates, actor Vijay Deverakonda has reportedly appeared before the ED in the case for questioning. For the unversed, the ED has summoned many celebrities regarding money laundering in an illegal betting case. Read on for more about it.

Vijay Deverakonda Appears Before ED

Vijay Deverakonda has primarily worked in Telugu films and was most recently seen in Kingdom. As per a report by Hindustan Times, he presented himself before the Enforcement Directorate on Wednesday regarding questioning for a money laundering case. The case in linked to illegal online gambling and betting, and many celebrities were summoned by the ED regarding it. Vijay Deverakonda appeared at the the zonal office of the agency, as per the news reports. Reportedly, the actor’s statements in the case have been recorded by the Enforcement Directorate.

Earlier, there were reports about Rana Daggubati missing the ED summon due to prior professional commitments. However, the actor had requested for fresh dates in August. Reportedly, these celebrities had allegedly “promoted” the lllegal betting apps.

On the work front, Vijay Deverakonda has done films like Arjun Reddy, Dear Comrade, Kingdom, Kushi and Liger among others. The actor made his debut in 2011 and since then, he has worked across the South Indian film industry.
