The suspects were placed in remand for questioning, indicating that the source of these threats may be widespread and well-organized.

The threat message referencing Yogi Adityanath comes amid heightened tensions following the assassination of Baba Siddique on October 12. Siddique, known for his connections in both political and Bollywood circles, was close to Salman Khan, further linking the web of threats against Khan with the broader criminal network potentially responsible for Siddique’s murder. Siddique’s son, Zeeshan Siddique, an MLA from Bandra, was also named in one of the death threats aimed at intimidating the family and its allies.

In related news, the crime branch unit of Mumbai police has initiated extradition proceedings to bring Anmol Bishnoi, brother of the imprisoned gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, back from the United States. This action is part of the ongoing investigations connected to the firing incident outside Salman Khan’s Bandra residence, emphasizing the extensive efforts by law enforcement to tackle this violent undercurrent.
