The Twisha Sharma’s death case, an incident that has shockwaves across the country, is only getting twisted with each new update. According to the recent updates, the Bhopal police have been accused of many delays in the investigation and in securing evidence from the crime scene. Delays In The Investigation?

The Twisha Sharma death case is being investigated by the CBI. The case was transferred to the Central Agency at the request of the victim’s family. As per the latest updates, in the investigation, the CBI has claimed that there have been many delays in the investigation and in securing the evidence. As per The Indian Express report, the CBI also plans to question the Bhopal police regarding the claims. After a thorough investigation of the seizure records, it has been reported that the ligature material, the rope which Twisha allegedly used to hang herself, was recovered by the police after almost 10 hours of the phone call made to the police. Along with the rope, other digital devices were also reportedly seized after 10 hours. In fact, the headphones that Twisha Sharma was wearing in the CCTV footage that was recorded a few hours before her demise were also recovered by the police 10 days later. The victim’s family repeatedly accused the MP police of poor handling of the case, after which it was transferred to the CBI.

Accused In Custody

Retired Judge Giribala Singh and Twisha’s husband, Samarth, are currently in judicial custody. Their lawyers have denied their involvement in leaking any CCTV footage of Twisha Sharma in which her body was being taken down the staircase.

Missing Signature

As per a report by Republic, the signatures of Giribala Singh and Samarth are particularly missing from Page 32 of the official seizure memo, which mentions the recovery of the ligature belt.
