India’s favourite sitcom Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah has landed in trouble after the leading ladies of the show have come forward to make some shocking allegations against the makers. Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal AKA Roshan and Monika Bhadoriya AKA Bawri have revealed how the set of TMKOC set is a male chauvinist place, and also made claims about being treated poorly by the producer and the project head. Asit Modi made sexual advances
It was Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal who first came forward to shed light on the toxic environment on TMKOC sets. She said that the show’s producer Asit Modi sexually harassed her. She claimed he flirted with her and even made ‘sexual advances’.

Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal claims Asit wanted to ‘kiss’ her
Jennifer, popularly known for essaying the role of Roshan in TMKOC, said that Asit Modi told her he wanted to kiss her. She also went on to say that he asked her to join him for drinks several times.

Her half-day pays would be deducted and leaves would be approved last minute
Bansiwal said that her half-day leaves were often deducted from her pay, and also that her leaves which would often ask for in advance were always approved last minute.

Monika Bhadoriya claims she was asked to lose weight
In a recent interview, Monika Bhadoriya AKA Bawri revealed TMKOC project head, Sohail Ramani, asked her to lose weight and said that she looked pregnant. She claims he forced her to undergo drastic weight loss in 20 days which impacted her health severely as well.
