Many on the internet have widely circulated this video, claiming it was her. She recently issued a statement and said that it wasn’t her. An intimate 19-minute and 34-second video featuring a young couple went viral on social media platforms like Telegram, Instagram, and Facebook. Many claimed that the girl in the video was Meghalaya-based influencer Sweet Zannat. People even demanded the link to the viral video in her comment section, and this went on for days. This stopped when she finally addressed the rumours once and for all and shared a video denying all the claims of her involvement. She also pointed out the physical differences between her and the girl in the video.
Zannat also mentioned that the girl in the video could speak fluent English, unlike her. This was because she had only studied till class 12. According to reports that came out later, the couple was identified as Bengali YouTubers named Sofik SK and Dustu Sonali. Zannat later revealed that she had been distressed by a separate deepfake video made by two boys from her hometown, made by AI. An apology was later issued by the boys, where Zannat was also present with them. The Influencer accepted their apologies, explaining that an ‘elder sister’ would do the same for her brothers. However, Zannat urged the males not to do the same with other girls.
