The legal battle after businessman Sunjay Kapur’s demise has escalated in the family. Now, there are reports about the dispute regarding the RK Family Trust. Amid the dispute around the trust, Sunjay Kapur’s mother has issued a notice for the removal of his wife Priya Kapur as the trustee. Read here to know more about it.
What Happened?
As per the news reports, the RK Family Trust’s existence and validity has currently been challenge at the Delhi High Court. According to a clause, Sunjay Kapur’s mother Rani Kapur has the right to remove any trustee without any reasons. And therefore, she has issued a notice to remove Priya Kapur as the trustee within 15 days of the date of receipt, as per Hindustan Times report. It further reads that the Priya Kapur will not be a trustee regardless of the trust being recognised as valid or invalid. As per the notice, Sunjay Kapur’s wife Priya Kapur has also been asked to refrain from using her powers in any capacity.
Earlier many accusations were my at Sunjay Kapur’s wife by his mother Rani Kapur. She has alleged that Priya Kapur has moved his son’s assets abroad and has accused her of ‘massive concealment’ of money. She refused to believe claims by Priya Kapur.

On the other hand, Karisma Kapoor’s children have also rejoinder in the case against Sunjay Kapur’s wife alleging discrepancy in the list of assets provided by her. They alleged that many assets from the list are missing and had requested for a release of the entire list of assets owned by their father.
