What Happened?
The founder of startup Sai Krishna took to his Twitter handle to share about the discussion around his dealbreakers that he had with a woman. In this post, Krishna wrote that he met the founder of a matchmaking app, and she asked him about his dealbreakers. To this the founder said that he wanted a vegetarian, non-drinker, and non-smoker (of any kind), and the woman replied saying that was impossible to find. He reacted to this and wrote, “Seriously, Like seriously?”
In the comment section, many people started bashing the startup founder. He reacted to them and wrote, “God forbid, a man has preferences”. Many women in the comment section bashed the narrow-mindedness reflecting in the post. Some user pointed out the problem with the founder’s post was that he wanted all these things in a woman along with an upper caste status and high education. The post compared the demands of the man to a woman demanding 6’3 millionaire. However, there were some other users who agreed with the founder’s description and wrote that many women would fit the criteria.
